Classical Tuscan Ducati Day Tour

This day trip takes you on a ride through Tuscany's classical countryside in a way you will never have experienced before.  During the day you will see the historic towns of Volterra, San Gimignano and Siena as well as experiencing the sights, the flavours, the sounds and the smells of Tuscany.

Starting point: Lucca

• Meeting at 9.00am at Garage Pasquinelli, via Vittorio Emmanuele. Please wear sensible footwear and trousers (preferably jeans).
• We provide helmets, jackets and gloves (to ensure a good fit please contact us the day before your trip!)
• The initial ride takes us out of Lucca and through the Compitese area to the south-east of the town.
• We then cross the famous Arno river before following the Val d'Era towards Volterra
• At Volterra we will stop for a quick look at the town and a refreshing drink!
• Our lunch stopover is at the breathtaking town of San Gimignano - a short ride away from Volterra
• After lunch we head pas the delightful town of Monteriggioni and on to medieval Siena
• From Siena we follow the superstrada north towards Florence before curring across to Vinci - home of Leonardo
• The final leg of the tour takes us from Vinci along the Alpi Montalbano to Montecatini and back to Lucca for Supper                                       
  

For this tour we will provide all the required safety equipment and a small backpack for carrying cameras etc. We use a radio based intercom system which allows you to talk to your guide                                       

Price per person based on one person and one bike:     € 375,00   
Price for passenger equipment rental:  € 50,00
       
** The prices above include the motorcycle and the initial tank of fuel but do not include food/drinks.   
                       
** We do require a copy of your driving licence and a €1000 security deposit against your credit card. Our full damage liability is €3000 and all rentors will be asked to sign a rental agreement promising to cover this liability in the event of damage to the motorcycle   

** All riders/passengers must sign our waiver form before the tour can start

** A ‘passenger only’ option of riding pillion with the guide is available at €200.

Alpi Apuane Ducati Day Tour

This day trip takes you on a ride through the high hills to the North of Tuscany through areas you have never seen!  During the day you will see lesser known towns, high mountains and dramatic countryside. We will stop at Piteglio, Abetone, Castiglione di Garfagnana and Castelnuovo di Garfagnana.

Starting point: Lucca

• Meeting at 9.00am at Garage Pasquinelli, via Vittorio Emmanuele. Please wear sensible footwear and trousers (preferably jeans).
• We provide helmets, jackets and gloves (to ensure a good fit please contact us the day before your trip!)
• The initial ride takes us out of Lucca and through the Compitese area to the south-east of the town.
• We wind across via Piteglio and up to Abetone (Tuscany's most famous Ski resort) for a lunch break
• After lunch we nip into the Emilia Romagna before heading up onto the famous Passo Dei Radici
• We pass stunning mountain scenery before dropping down to Castiglione di Garfagnana and a look at the town’s ancient fort
• A short ride takes us to the main town of the Garfagnana – Castelnuovo
• A final climb over the Apuane mountains brings us out to the coast and an aperitivo at fashionable Forte dei Marmi
• The final leg of the tour brings us back to Lucca for Dinner
