...walking and tasting Tuscany

If you love walking in the countryside, enjoying nature and have a little bit of sense of adventure, this tour will delight you as well as the good wine you will taste during the day!

Our starting point will be Lucca city centre or your accommodation, if you wish, from where we will reach the country by a private van (or the public bus service). We will stop close to first winery, just in the middle of vineyards, and will start our walking tour.

So, after an introduction to the wine world, we will arrive at the first winery, an ancient villa-farm, typical of Lucca area, surrounded by an historical garden! Here, after visiting the cellars, we will seat in the big old kitchen of the villa and taste the wines produced by the winery!

Then, after some moment of relax, we will leave again to reach the second farm, just on a hill close to the villa. We will walk along olive groves and wild fileds of grass, with the valley of Lucca on the right and the green hills on the left...
After this easy walk (about 30 minutes - 1,5 km) we will reach the second farm, a pink stone house whose garden is full of flowers, herbs and mediterranean bush.
What about a Tuscan “merenda” (homemade bread, oil, salumi, cheeses and wine) on the terrace of the farm?

After the light lunch and a deserved relaxation, let's visit the wine cellar and the oil mill (frantoio), where we will discover how passion and love for their land guide these farmers in their work! Then, if this is not enough for you, let's stop at the small wine and oil shop of the farm to do shopping!

The van will come to pick up us from here, so no problem if you wish to fill it with bags and bottles of wine!!
