Montalcino is worldwide known for its superb DOCG wine, Brunello! So, this tour will let you discover both an ancient charming town, Montalcino, surrounded by a breath taking landscape, and some award winning wineries: the Banfi, the Biondi Santi, the Altesino, the Barbi wineries, and many others. The tour of the cellars will introduce you to the secrets of what is considered one of the best wines in the world. After a delicious lunch in a local trattoria or farm, we will go to visit the Abbey of Sant’Antimo, dating back to the 10th century and its small Benedectine congregation of 7 monks where, if we will be luck, we will be able to see them praying and singing in the traditional Gregorian way!
